Mother Lucinda Faye Richardson was born on September 27, 1955 to the late Lucille Richardson and LeRoy Richardson.
Lucinda accepted Christ at an early age. She became a member of Greater Free Gift Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Rodney McFarland, I. There she served on the mother board.
Lucinda attended Richwood High School but completed her high school education at Robinson Business College. She worked at Wilson’s for many years. She also worked at Premier, Bastrop, and Riverbend Rehabilitation Hospitals. She also maintained a neighborhood candy store.
After sixty-three glorious years, the Lord called Lucinda home on July 19, 2019. Lucinda’s love for her family and others will always be remembered.
Lucinda was preceded in death by her parents, Lucille and LeRoy Richardson; son, Mitchell Ray Richardson; grandchild, Akira Foy; and two brothers, Willie Ray Carrington, and DWayne Mosley.
She leaves to cherish her memories: four daughters, Tammie Richardson, NaTasha Richardson, LaToya Richardson, and Tyhesia Richardson-Davis (Marcus); thirteen grandchildren, Michael Richardson, Ricterius Richardson, Martez Richardson, LaMarkus Richardson, Everett Richardson, and eight others who are not named but deeply loved; seven great-grandchildren, two sisters, Kim Mosley and Angela Williams; four brothers, Lester Richardson, David Richardson (Bobbie), Roy Holmes, and Robert Richardson; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, co-workers, and loved ones.
