Ka’Reena Evette Johnson-Brown was born February 2, 1982 to the late Jeffery Jerome Williams and Karen Lavette Johnson-Goree. She was dearly loved and raised by Kenneth Ray Wilson, her daddy, since she was a year old.
Ka’Reena attended Clara Hall Elementary School. Thomas Jefferson Junior High School, and Wossman High School. She was one of the youth coordinators at Peep, Inc.
Ka’Reena was an active member of Lone Wa Baptist Church in the youth ministry, and later joined Redemption Power Church.
Ka’Reena was married to Charlie “C.D.” Brown. There were no children born to this union.
Ka’Reeena was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Shirley M. Johnson, Velma Millage, and Willie Mae Clinton, all of Monroe, Louisiana; her uncle, George L. Cherry of Monroe, Louisiana; great-grandmother, Luegenia Cherry of Monroe, Louisiana; two cousins, Cierra Johnson of Monroe, Louisiana and Adolphus Walker of Aiea, Hawaii; aunt, Barbara Walker of Monroe, Louisiana; sister, Tonya Dawson of Miami, Florida; and nephew, Steve Brown of Monroe, Louisiana.
Ka’Reena leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Karen L. Goree (Danny) of Monroe, Louisiana; father, Kenneth R. Wilson (Abbie) of Monroe, Louisiana; two sisters, Kennetia R. Joseph (Joseph) of Monroe, Louisiana, and Kira V. Wilson of Bossier, Louisiana; two brothers, Kenneth R. Hall (Miranda) of Monroe, Louisiana, and Keith L. Hall (Destiney) of Shreveport, Louisiana; God-parents, Calvin and Delbert Blunt of Monroe, Louisiana; god-brother, Kiamté Blunt of Monroe, Louisiana; two uncles, Alex Johnson, Jr, of Monroe, Louisiana, and Billy Walker (Stephanie) of Monroe, Louisiana; three aunts, Sherece Johnson of Monroe, Louisiana, Areatha Johnson of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Doris Walker of Bastrop, Louisiana; three nephews, three nieces, and a host of family, friends, and god-children.
