James Edward Boatner

James Edward Boatner was born on June 27, 1957. 

He attended Richardson High School. 

James worked for Action Moving Storage in West Monroe, Louisiana for 20 years.

He departed this life on May 10, 2019 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center of West Monroe, Louisiana.

He is proceeded in death by his mother, Hellen Bell Boatner, Father Willie T. Cobbs, two brothers, Cleve Boatner and Robert Lee Boatner, two sisters, Francis J. Cobbs and Gwenette Fay Carter.

Leaving to cherish his memory are two sons by Mrs. Grace Lee: Michael (Yolanda) Davis and Marcus (Amber) Davis; daughters, Deshuna Bernard (Kenneth) Blade, Cora M. Glass; his fiancé of 25 years, Bobbie Nell Goins, two stepsons, Larry Jenkins and Willie Goins; four sisters, Nancy (Sam) McFee, Shirley (Bruce) Robinson, Barbara Slack, and Patricia Cobbs; four brothers, Lewis (Dorothy) Boatner, Ronnie Boatner, James T. Cobbs and Willie T. Cobbs. A host of grandchildren, niece, nephews, cousins and friends.
