James Lawrence, Jr.

James Lawrence, Jr. was born January 25, 1959 in Rayville, LA to the late Anna Mae Wesley and James Lawrence, Sr.

James attended Alto School.

James united with Judea Baptist Church in Monroe under the leadership of Reverend Frank Givens.

He is a former employee of Jabar Construction Company of Calhoun.

James was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Mae Wesley; his father, James Lawrence, Sr., two sisters, Theresa Jones and Louise Navy, and two brothers, Earl and Clifton.

He leaves to cherish his memories: four sons, Darrell (Mary) and Jessie, both of Monroe, LA; Demetrius (Stephanie) of Dallas, TX; and Marcus of Bastrop, LA; four daughters, Monica (Randall) of Bastrop, LA; DeWanda of Rayville, LA; Shelia and Alvaina (Steven), both of Monroe, LA; thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren,  four sisters, Sandra (James) of Monroe, LA; Claudell (Allen) and Lena, both of Rayville, LA; and Emma of Jennette, LA; one brother, Hilton of Kansas City; one brother in law, Billy Ray Hamiliton, Sr., and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
