Edgar LaTron Lewis

Edgar LaTron Lewis was born October 27, 1977 to Brenda Lewis. Edgar was united with “The Church of Faith” as a young boy under the leadership of Pastor Amos McCarthy. Here, Edgar accepted Christ and was baptized. His mother later moved the family to Jesus Holy Temple.

He attended Burg Jones Lane Elementary, Jefferson Junior High, and Wossman High Schools.

Edgar is preceded in death by his grandparents and an auntie.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Brenda Lewis; a special friend, Shawnta Coleman; a host of children, one sister, Kizzy Lewis of Monroe, Louisiana; two brothers, Michael Lewis of Monroe, Louisiana, and Marlon Lewis of New England; two aunts, Mildred Lewis and Patricia Mitchell (Jimmy) of Monroe, Louisiana; one uncle, Allen Lewis of Gilbert, Louisiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
