Barbara Chakita Mecole Roe was born on December 29, 1991 to Sereitta Roe and Robert DeWayne Marshall in Monroe, Louisiana.

She departed this life on August 9, 2019, when our heavenly father called on her to a place of eternal peace and rest.

Barbara accepted Christ at an early age. Barbara was loved by many people. She loved her family and friends and the Lord, our God.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Barbara Dean Roe; three great-grandmothers, Gloria Dean Roe, Emma Jean Lawrence, and Lela Mae Anderson; one uncle, Fredrick Roe; and one great-uncle, Willie Collins.

She leaves to cherish a loving mother, Sereitta A. Roe; her father, Robert Marshall; one loving son, Donterious Roe; two sisters, Vandaishous Tarver of Arlington, Texas and Ra’Keria (Jessie) Davis of Monroe, Louisiana; two brothers, Robert Roe and Arrion Roe of Arlington, Texas; one grandmother, Debra Ann (Darryl) Marshall; one special uncle, Cornelius Roe; one favorite cousin, Shawn Roe; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
